There has certainly been a lot of buzz about the new Kindle 4 recently. Many online sources are speculating on the Kindle 4 release and just what the specs are going to be. The truth is that as of yet, at the time of writing, we simply do not know exactly what we are going to get. But we do know that if we want to get it first then we need to get on the pre-order list. Will it be a Kindle 4 in color, a touch screen or something else entirely? There is certainly a lot of talk of a new tablet and this seems likely to be released this year too. So just when are we going to find out what we are going to be offered?
Kindle 4 Release Date
It seems that the release date is still being kept a close secret although from the many rumors online it seems really rather likely that the last quarter of the year would be an excellent release date.
The Kindle 4 release date 2011 is more than likely to be around September but this is just going by past releases. By 2010 last year we were able to order the Kindle 3 even if it did mean waiting for it to actual ship because of the huge number of orders placed.

From what can be gathered online there seems little doubt that a color Kindle is going to be the main focus, even if some still insist on comparing it to the Nook! There is simply going to be no comparison in terms of aesthetics and user friendly options, at least as far as can be gathered.
The new Kindle is most likely to be color, maybe even with a touch screen, although with the news of Amazon tablets being released as well this year it seems less likely that touch will be a part of the Kindle 4, but it is all speculation.

What we do know, from leaked sources, is that upwards of 800,000 units are expected to be shipped each month from suppliers, whether for the tablet or their reader is still debatable, but it does seem at least likely that we are going to be able to buy a very new incarnation of the Kindle 4 very soon, and hopefully for a very good price.

If anyone has been keeping up to date with news of the current Kindle 3 then they will know that there is now an ad based option. This sells for a rock bottom price and it is now the most popular option. If we get a Kindle 4 price that is ad based it is going to be very low indeed. And even more incentive to buy.
