The Kindle 4 is the most eagerly anticipated e-book reader ever and the Kindle 4 release date is something that an awful lot of people want a definitive answer to. So far at the time of writing there is no definitive answer to when will the Kindle 4 be released although if we take past release for the Amazon Kindle in to account we can be pretty sure of a color Kindle at the beginning of the latter part of the year. Maybe even September.

Kindle 4 2011 Release

It does seem very likely that September may well be when we can first pre-order the new release the only confusing part being if it is going to be a genuine Kindle or a tablet. There have been countless rumors about Amazon taking on the iPad 2 and releasing a tablet and this is now pretty much a foregone conclusion.

What we do not know is if the September release is going to be for a Kindle 4 or for a Kindle tablet aka Amazon tablet.

The tablet is going to  be very different to the Kindle, no weeks long battery life for a start and a totally different user experience. Many want the benefits the Kindle has to offer, including he low price, but maybe with just a color display option. Even there we seem to get much debate about whether the technology is really up to a color option at the moment or not.

Only time will tell and there is certainly no doubt that  lot of fans are very eagerly anticipating a new release whatever it may be.
