There have been an increasing number of rumors this month about the kindle 4 and its release date. We are all waiting to buy what is sure to be an amazing item but we have simply had no idea when the Kindle 4 is actually going to be released.

Well there is some very good news indeed.

It now seems very likely indeed that the first of a series of releases from Amazon are going to begin in August! Not long to wait at all.

We should find that the new Kindle 4 is going to be with us in August. And this means that we may well find that we are able to pre-order it in July. A lot of people are very excited and yet we still do not know exactly what is going to be released.

Kindle 4 Or Tablet

Although the rumors do indicate that the Kindle 4 release date is August we need to take it with a pinch of salt. It may actually be a tablet that is released first. Fir many this will be the upgrade they want from the Kindle 3, but for others not.

Amazon are set to release 2 tablets this year and it does seem likely that the first is going to be what will be seen as an upgrade form the Kindle 3. It will have a touch screen. A color option and many more features. But it will be a tablet at heart.

It may mean we do not have the same extended battery life that we currently have, although it is hard to see Amazon releasing anything that doe not have this feature.

But time will tell and we are simply going to have to wait just that little bit longer before we finally can buy the new Kindle 4. Let’s hope the first release is what we have been waiting for.
